Privacy Policy

FamaForge is a creator-brand collaboration platform. This Privacy Policy explains how FamaForge collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when creators, brands, and other users access or use the platform.

Account Information

Creator Profile Information

• Creator category or niche
• Location, if provided
• Collaboration preferences
• Rate or pricing information, if provided
• Campaign and collaboration activity

Brand Information

• Brand or business name

• Campaign information
• Contact information submitted to FamaForge

Creators may voluntarily connect eligible third-party social accounts to FamaForge. Connected account access occurs only after the creator authorizes FamaForge through the relevant platform's authorization flow.

YouTube

When a creator connects YouTube, FamaForge may access information made available through the authorized read-only YouTube API scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly, including:

• YouTube channel identifier
• Channel name
• Channel and profile information
• Subscriber and channel statistics available through the API
• Uploaded video metadata
• Video views
• Likes
• Comment counts where available
• Other relevant video performance statistics available through the API

FamaForge currently requests read-only YouTube access and does not use this authorization to upload, modify, or delete content from a creator's YouTube account.

Instagram

Eligible Instagram professional accounts, including Creator and Business accounts, may be connected to FamaForge. FamaForge may access:

• Instagram professional account identifier
• Username
• Profile information
• Media such as posts and Reels where made available through the API
• Media performance information
• Account insights
• Media insights

This access occurs only after the creator authorizes FamaForge through Instagram's authorization flow.

FamaForge may use information to:

• Operate the platform
• Create and maintain accounts
• Populate connected creator profiles
• Provide creator analytics
• Calculate basic statistics such as average views and engagement
• Help creators understand content performance
• Support creator discovery
• Support brand-creator collaboration matching
• Operate campaigns and collaboration workflows
• Provide notifications
• Maintain security and prevent abuse
• Provide support
• Improve FamaForge

FamaForge may display selected creator profile and performance information to brands for creator discovery and collaboration evaluation. This may include:

• Creator name or username
• Public profile information
• Follower or subscriber counts
• Public content information
• Average views
• Average engagement
• Other permitted summary performance information

FamaForge does not provide brands with creators' OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, social account passwords, raw authentication credentials, or raw API responses.

Certain detailed or non-public analytics may remain visible only to the creator or may require additional creator consent before being shared.

FamaForge does not sell Google or Instagram API user data. Information may be shared only where necessary with:

• Other FamaForge users as part of the platform functionality
• Service providers needed to operate the platform
• Hosting or cloud infrastructure providers
• Email or notification providers
• Payment providers where applicable
• Professional or legal advisors where appropriate
• Government or legal authorities where legally required
• Parties involved in a business transfer if FamaForge is acquired or reorganized, subject to applicable law

Social API information is not sold to advertisers or data brokers.

FamaForge uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. OAuth credentials and access tokens are protected, access is restricted, and authentication credentials are not displayed to other users. FamaForge uses HTTPS in production.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and FamaForge cannot guarantee absolute security.

FamaForge retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide platform functionality, maintain accounts, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

For connected social accounts, after disconnecting, future synchronization stops, stored authorization credentials are removed or invalidated as applicable, and associated API-derived data is deleted, anonymized, or retained only where permitted or required by platform policies, applicable law, or legitimate retention obligations.

Creators can disconnect YouTube or Instagram through FamaForge Connected Accounts or Settings. After disconnecting, FamaForge stops making new API requests for that connection and stored authorization credentials are removed or invalidated as applicable. Users may also revoke FamaForge's access through their Google or Instagram/Meta account settings where those platforms provide such controls.

Users may submit a deletion request using the methods described on our Data Deletion page. FamaForge will process requests in accordance with applicable laws and platform requirements.

Disconnecting a connected social account stops future access to that account but does not automatically delete the user's FamaForge account. Users who wish to delete their FamaForge account and associated personal information should submit a deletion request using the methods described on the Data Deletion page.

FamaForge may use essential cookies or similar session technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and basic analytics if applicable.

FamaForge is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law. FamaForge does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

FamaForge may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When the policy is updated, the Last Updated date will be changed.

FamaForge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy and applicable Google and YouTube developer policies.

Google data is accessed only after authorization, is used for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and users may disconnect their YouTube account. FamaForge uses the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly scope for read-only access and does not use that scope to publish, modify, or delete YouTube content.

FamaForge accesses Instagram professional account data only after authorization. FamaForge currently uses the instagram_business_basic permission for professional account and media access and the instagram_business_manage_insights permission for account and media insights. Instagram platform data is used only for the creator analytics, profile, discovery, and collaboration purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Users may disconnect Instagram through FamaForge, and data deletion requests can be submitted through the FamaForge deletion process.
